💬 What are Other Parents Saying?
“This is the first time my daughter has not complained about having to learn math.”
”Erin‘s passion for math is contagious and, in turn, my daughter now has a passion for mathematics and that was only in a few sessions.”
"After just a few sessions with Erin, my math-averse daughter expressed how helpful it was and that she'd even like to come back next year!”
✨ Here’s what she’ll get inside Girls That Math:
Targeted practice with foundational skills … think mental math, times tables, division, etc.
Useful strategies for solving word problems
Renewed confidence so she can look forward to math class instead of dreading it
A supportive accountability group with new friendships! 👩🏼🤝👩🏽
🛑 This is NOT Your Typical Tutoring Program
Girls That Math isn’t like traditional tutoring (can anyone say snooze fest? 😴) or big chain math programs where your daughter is handed her thousandth worksheet 🫠.
Think of me as your friendly neighbourhood math fairy godmother 🪄— helping her unlock the potential she already has, so she leaves feeling empowered in math and beyond.
💚 What’s In It For You?
Enrolling your daughter today gives you:
Peace of mind that she’s fully supported
Confidence that when she gets to high school she’ll have the strong math foundation needed to succeed
Relief from the nightly kitchen-table math battles (goodness knows the horror stories that table could tell)
⭐️ Please note: At this time, my small group programs are female-focused. What can I say? I love me a lil’ girl-power moment.
Don’t believe me.
Here’s what
other parents
just like you
have to say:
”Erin‘s passion for math is contagious and, in turn, my daughter now has a passion for mathematics and that was only in a few sessions.”
“You make learning math concepts fun and easy to understand.”
“My daughter was not impressed when I signed her up for the program but was eager to return after the first class.”
"After just a few sessions with Erin, my math-averse daughter expressed how helpful it was and that she'd even like to come back next year!”
“This is the first time my daughter has not complained about having to learn math.”
“[My daughter] always had something good to say about your lessons. She was also excited to come to class every Sunday, which is usually a struggle.”

Great question!
→ Small group programs run weekly over 5–10 weeks. They focus on building skills, confidence, and consistency. It's like the difference between a couple of killer workouts vs. committing to a solid fitness plan. Longer-term support = longer-term results.
→ Pop-up workshops are short-term sessions that target a specific concept. They run over 1 or 2 days (typically 4 hours total). Topics change with each workshop. Think: mental math, algebra, fractions, etc. They’re short, sweet, and super focused. Ideal for busy families or those wanting to “try before they commit.”
-
Pop-up workshops are typically capped at 10 students. Small group programs are a little more intimate, with a maximum of 8. Keeping groups small means every student gets the personal support they need. No one slips through the cracks here!
-
Totally understandable — life happens! While there are no make-up sessions or refunds for missed classes, I’ll always make sure your child gets a recap. As well, I will email home any resources provided while they are away.
-
I do! Math confidence is for all kids. I offer one-on-one and small group tutoring that's open to everyone. That said, right now, my small group programs are specifically for girls. Creating a unique space to support girls in their learning is something I’m passionate about 💛.
-
Most programs and workshops run out of SW Calgary community centres. Each listing includes location details. Not sure? Just ask!
-
They’re not alone and they’re in the right place! My approach is warm, encouraging, and judgment-free. I meet students where they’re at and help them to feel safe, supported and capable.
(Spoiler: Mini whiteboards, clever strategies, and lots of real conversation help a ton.)
-
I sure do! I offer private tutoring in select SW Calgary neighbourhoods or at nearby libraries. Just mention it in the contact form if you’re curious. I'm happy to chat options!
-
Most families pay via e-transfer. If that doesn’t work for you, reach out and we’ll find a solution that does.

Yep! All multi-week programs come with a First Week Guarantee. If it doesn’t feel like the right fit after Week 1, I’ll refund your full payment — no pressure, no stress. It’s important to me that every student feels at home in my programs.
